Getting ready for a big event? We've got you covered!
Have you got a big event coming up that you want to look your best for? One thing you can typically guarantee in this life, is that if there’s a big event you need to look great for, a spot, rash or some kind of skin issue will rear its ugly head right before it.
However, the good news is - this can be prevented.
With the right skincare routine, you can absolutely look your best for that big event you have coming up. Here, you’ll discover some of the best tips and advice to help you achieve that healthy, glowing look.
Exfoliate and Moisturise
A month or so before your big event, start exfoliating and moisturising.
If you don’t have a month before the event that’s fine, just start as early as you can. This is because it can take time for products to work on the skin, so giving it at least a few weeks will ensure your skin improves in time for your big event.
Exfoliating removes dead, dull skin cells whilst a good moisturiser will soften and plump up the skin, leaving it looking fresh and youthful.

Opt For Natural Skincare Products
The type of products you’re using are also going to make a difference.
For example - did you know a lot of chemical products found in beauty stores can actually make your skin worse in the way it behaves and looks?
This is because, even moisturisers often contain drying, harsh ingredients.
If you want to see a real change in your skin, you’ll be better off choosing natural, organic skin care products such as the ones from Neal’s Yard Remedies.
These are much gentler on the skin, making it less likely you’ll have a reaction to them. You’ll also be left with much softer, smoother skin than you would with chemical product
Don’t Undergo significant Changes Before The Big Day
A very important tip to follow is to avoid undergoing any major changes prior to the big event.
This includes injectable treatments such as Botox - some treatments are non-invasive procedures but can still cause swelling and bruising which all takes time to heal.
Along with the fact that you're not entirely sure how you'll look following a treatment.
As you can see, here we've shared some quick tips on the best way to take care of your skin before a big event. Don't forget to relax too - stress can have a negative impact on the skin so find plenty of ways to relax and maintain a healthy sleeping pattern.
We always love reading your comments so let us know what you think of these tips and how you prepare for any big event or special occasion!
