How would you rate your night time skincare routine? If like many women you simply rub a cleansing wipe over your face before getting into bed - it’s time to upgrade your routine!
Having a relaxing bedtime beauty regime won’t just help to enhance the skin, but it will also help you get a much better night’s sleep too.
Here, we’ll look at some of the best tips to help you achieve a relaxing bedtime beauty routine.
Tips For A Relaxing Bedtime Beauty Routine
Enjoy, Relax and Pamper With a Bath
After a long day at work, what's the best thing you can do to relax? Have a bath of course!
If you've got a bathtub at home and don't use it as much - we're giving you a good reason to start using it more often! Did you know that having a bath in the evening is one of the best things you can do - it's proven!
Baths are just great so if you have a bathtub at home - there's more reason to stock up on lovely bath gels and salts.
Not only is a bath really relaxing but it's great for your skin. Opening up the pores which allows your skin to absorb moisturiser / body lotion much better.
Turn a simple bath into a pamper / at-home spa session by adding bath gel and bath salts to warm running water.
Natural bath salts are a wonderful all-round item to pamper. Helping to boost circulation and can also help to remove toxins within the body.
Cleanse and Moisturise
As obvious as this may seem - a lot of people still skip it!
Once you’ve had a bath, it’s time to cleanse and moisturise. You’ll ideally want a relaxing, sleep inspired moisturiser with a scent like Lavender.
It’s better to apply when the skin is still wet as it will penetrate into the pores much easier.
Cleansing before putting your moisturiser on will also help to boost the results. It will remove traces of makeup along with dead skin cells and pollutants.
This too helps the moisturiser to get to work much easier. Ideally, you’ll want to pick up a night time beauty kit such as the ones sold by Neom Organics.
Facial Massage
When applying your night time skincare products - a facial massage is the best way to do it as this allows the product to really be absorbed by your skin.
The facial massage application helps the products to stimulate and penetrate into the skin while also boosting your circulation.
This will leave the skin looking much fresher and you’ll also feel a lot more relaxed.
Overall, if you want to get the most from your night time beauty regime, you’ll want to follow the tips above.
It does take more time to do it right, but those extra minutes you spend will really pay off in the long-term.
So, we hope that you enjoyed this post! If you follow the tips above, your skin will soon start to feel softer, smoother and it will look better than it ever has!
