All in time for Veganuary 2020!
A cheer for all the vegan food launching in the UK and Nando’s is about to make a big change to their menu – thanks to the demand they have received.
That’s right, you’ll be able to get VEGAN PERInaise sauce in January 2020 – which works well perfectly with Veganuary.
Nando’s Vegan Perinaise
For vegans who love their fast food – this is a step in the direction and it’s actually nice to see chains adding more to their vegan and plant-based menus.
The PERInaise sauce has been developed by the people behind PERi-PERi and has been made using a variety of plant-based substitutes, promising the creamy taste you love.
Now, we haven’t tried it however, the description which has been released says the following: “The creaminess of mayonnaise, the spiciness of PERi-PERi – now completely vegan! Use it as a slightly spicy dip for chips and/or crisps or just as a creamy bite to sandwiches and salads. Out of things to have it on? How about just a spoon….”
So, as you can see – the team at Nando’s and PERi-PERi are adding more items to their vegan / plant-based menu and whilst I won’t forgive them for removing the veggie burger from their menu, maybe this will be something for me to enjoy – with a portion of fries.
This will be available from the 1st January, both in the restaurants and also in Tesco supermarkets across the UK.
Nando’s promises that this will taste just as good as the original – making it perfect for everyone.
As reported by Cosmopolitan, this has gone down a storm on Twitter with people tweeting “Ooh, now this looks tasty!“
Another tweeted: “Safe to say, this is going to be pretty popular!“
One tweet also read: “Where tf can I get that vegan perinaise? I need it….“
There’s not long to go – as mentioned, this will be launching in their restaurants and in Tesco Supermarkets around the UK on the 1st January!
New year, new diet?
