Interior Colour Trends 2020
It’s the start of a New Year and every so often, it’s great to update things in your life – whether it’s your wardrobe, your mindset or even your home….
In this post, we’re looking at some of the interior colour trends for your home decor this 2020.
White Magic – Interior Colour Trends 2020
White and cream will always be a popular combination however instead of choosing lots of cream items, turn to choosing more white tones for your home.
This will give you a bright, ‘fresh’ home whilst still getting warm tones from the cream accessories and decor.
Crisp yet cosy, there’s something really beautiful about combining white and cream shades – bright, airy and lovely.
When done right, you can totally get the hotel-luxe vibes in your home too! Think about adding lovely accessories to your home and bring the colours together – as seen in the photo above.
Minty Fresh – Interior Colour Trends 2020
This isn’t to everyone’s taste however if you’re looking at adding more colour to your home – look at beautiful pastel green shades.
You can really get creative with colours and the best thing about interior decor is that you can really put your stamp onto things.
What I love about green is that it works wonders with colours like white, grey and gold but it looks wonderful with contrasting shades such as hot pink.
Look at the photo above and you’ll notice that there’s so many elements and colour combinations however it all seems to work and look great together.
Grey Minimalism – Interior Colour Trends 2020
For those of you who like a minimalist approach, think about using grey instead of white.
As you can see in the photo, even though grey is a ‘cool’ colour, it works with brown and dark cream hues – adding a subtle warmth to the room.
Whilst I’m not a fan of the minimal look, I prefer cosy homes filled with cushions and throws, it’s something that a lot of people are turning to.
Look at using different accessories in your home, think about colour options and bring in different shades to add a creative flair and warmth to your home.
I always love reading your comments so let me know what you think about these colours and styles.
Are you looking to change the style in your home and what type of colours do you normally go for?
