The Mall Athens (Christmas Edition)

Greece is one of my favourite places and when I can, I try to visit The Mall Athens – it’s absolutely beautiful all-year-round however during the festive / Christmas season, it’s even more beautiful.

If you’re looking for a city break away – make sure to put Athens on your list and if you can, take a trip to The Mall Athens – especially if you want to shop!

The Mall Athens – Location

Located right next to the Nerantziotissa Train Station, it’s easily accessible from wherever you’re visiting. If you’re visiting central Athens for a weekend break, it’s a quick train ride out of the centre.

By car, The Mall Athens is located right off Attiki Odos – this is one of the main motorways. You can see the building from a distance and it’s signposted with directions, there’s indoor parking too!

What To Do At The Mall Athens?

The Mall Athens is the largest shopping centre in Greece. Opening in November 2005, it has since become a go-to for your shopping, entertainment and dining – introducing a new era of shopping.

If you’re a shopper, there’s over 200 options for you choose and over 4 floors for you to discover.

Beauty Lovers!

There’s plenty of options for you including stores such as Galerie De Beaute, Sephora, Kiko Milano, MAC and your Greek Pharmacies that bring you fantastic skincare and beauty products.

Fashion? No problem.

You can browse through Greek designer brands along with your international brands and the best part is that the international brands design for the European market so you’re always going to find something different compared to the UK.

The top floor brings you all of your cafe’s and restaurants together with plenty (and I mean plenty) of options to choose from – along with a beautiful outdoor terrace to enjoy the stunning views of Athens.

Summer nights are fantastic on the terrace, you get a cool breeze and the lights of Athens sparkle whilst you enjoy your summer drinks.

In the winter, wrap up. There’s outdoor heaters and windows which block out the cold but if you’re like me, wrap up.

There’s a cinema located on the same floor as your cafe’s and restaurants so make it a fun day out – go shopping, watch a film and then grab a bite to eat.

The Difference at Christmas

Christmas is one of my favourite times of year, there’s something magical about this time of year and The Mall Athens always looks fantastic during the festive season.

The decorations are beautiful with every floor being lined with gorgeous sparkling fairy lights and the theme / decorations changes each year which is lovely.

Perfect if you’re visiting alone, catching up with friends or travelling with your family as there’s something for everyone to see and enjoy.

Over the Christmas period, you can count on some great deals when shopping and lots of activities and exclusive events happening too.
