Blog Tips: How To Take Your Blog To The Next Level – Hey everyone! So it’s the weekend, the sun is shining, people are happy and it’s the perfect time to catch-up with blog posts and maybe even work on your own blog too!?

I always, always, always love making changes to the blog – whether it’s little tweaks to the design, the layout or even the font….it’s always good to make a change!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – design is key when it comes to your blog and it’s just as important as the content you’re writing and sharing with your readers.

Make sure your blog design is fresh, uplifting and overall – easy to navigate! You never know how tech-savvy your readers are, they might be ‘new’ to blogs so you need to make sure it’s easy to go from page to page and post to post….

Blog Tips: How To Take Your Blog To The Next Level – Content

Another key factor, it’s content! You can’t have a beautiful blog without quality writing….

I always try and write about things that I’d like to see on other blogs, things which I think will interest my readers and things which I think they’ll also be able to relate to. I try and connect with readers like friends as you never know who is reading your blog.

Someone could be inspired to start up a blog thanks to one of your posts, someone could be motivated to follow their dreams through a quote or something you featured on your blog – it’s all about connecting with your readers.

Blog Tips: How To Take Your Blog To The Next Level – Images

This is another major point which I consider can ‘make or break‘ a blog- it’s the images that you’re going to feature.

There’s nothing worse than going onto a blog and seeing fussy / out-of-focus images! I love clean, crisp images which focus on the subject or reflect what you’re writing about – always think about what you would like to see on someone else’s blog.
