Written By: Sprinkles of Style
It's the first of December and here at Sprinkles of Style, we're in full decor mode! Take a look at these tips on how to create a cosy Christmas in your home this year....
Cosy Christmas - Traditional Colours
One of the best ways to create a Cosy Christmas feel in your home is by using traditional colours. Not multi-coloured though!
Don't use too many colours - instead, use two to three colours which compliment each other. In this case, we'd suggest red, gold and cream or rustic silver, cream/pearl and white.
Both types of styles will be timeless, classic and give your home that beautiful 'Cosy Christmas' feel which we all love!
Cosy Christmas - Candles
One of the easiest and budget-friendly ways to add a that cosy Christmas feel to your home is by using candles.
You can use candles as decorative pieces all around your home - there's even Christmas tealight holders to use on the coffee table, beautiful candle sticks to use on the dining table and even Christmas scented candles which you can place in the hallway to add that cosy Christmas touch to your home.
Always be careful when using candles - keep an eye on them. You can also use faux, battery-powered, candles too.
Cosy Christmas - Mini Wreaths
Now, it's time to get creative!
Wreaths are a wonderful way to add that Cosy Christmas feel to your home whilst adding that unique touch to the space. There's always something really beautiful about making something yourself - a sense of achievement and happiness when you're done.
If you don't want to create a large wreath - think about making a few mini wreaths which you can place around your home.
Depending on the style and colouring, you can even create a wreath for your Christmas tress - take example from the image here on the right!
There we have a few of our tips on how to create that lovely 'Cosy Christmas' feel in your home - there's lots of posts on the way so make sure you check back for the latest.
We'd love to see what your Christmas decor tips are so feel free to comment with each other in the comment section below.
