Holiday Inn Aylesbury - Location
The Holiday Inn which I'm featuring in this article is the Holiday Inn Aylesbury.
Located on New Road, Weston Turville in Aylesbury - just off the A41. The location is perfect as you it's about a 10 minute drive to the centre of Aylesbury (depending on traffic) and also located close to main roads so you can easily travel to different meetings and events.

Holiday Inn Executive Room
Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the staff who were friendly and happy to help - provided with a key-card and directed to my room, not actually realising that I'd be staying in an Executive Room until I saw the room itself.
Right from the beginning, the room itself is lovely - not over the top but very presentable, clean and lovely - with more than enough space for one person.
Holiday Inn Executive Room - Room & Bed
The Holiday Inn Executive Room is a little bit bigger than standard rooms - offering more space for people and allowing you to feel more comfortable and relaxed during your stay.
In the Holiday Inn Executive Room, you have a lovely double bed which you can see pictured - with a selection of both firm and soft pillows so you can choose whichever you prefer.
Not only that, you have a large desk for your workspace (if you're like me) and a sofa which turns into an extra bed - if you need it. And yes - it really is comfortable.
There's something which everyone loves about staying in hotels - the beds seem to be that little bit more comfortable and duvets tend to feel like super-soft clouds which wrap you up and keep you warm.
Holiday Inn Executive Room - Heating
I've seen a lot of reviews about heating in different hotels however, in the room I stayed in, there was a lovely (and customisable) heating system with different heating levels and fan levels allowing you to choose how warm (or cool) you wanted the room to be - I know that different rooms and different hotels offer different heating systems and equipment so if you're someone who needs to stay warm - always ask at the front desk.
Holiday Inn Executive Room - Bathroom (Goals)
Another thing which people love about hotels is the bathrooms - especially if they're white! 🙂
As you can see in the picture, the bathroom in the Holiday Inn Executive Room was really lovely - with white tiling (not marble) but equally beautiful.
Always super clean, the executive room comes with a variety of luxury shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, body lotions, soap bars and fresh towels - the towels are actually left on the heated towel rail to make sure they're warm which is a nice touch.
After a long day out in the cold or snow, there's nothing better than coming back to your hotel room and running a hot bubble bath to kick-back and relax!

Holiday Inn Executive Room - Room Service
"Can I get a vegetarian burger, sweet potato fries and dessert please?"
I love room service especially after a long day rushing from meeting to meeting. The Holiday Inn Executive Room had 24 hour room service* available and during the day, there was a set menu to choose from.
If you're a vegetarian or vegan - there isn't too much available. I had a vegetarian burger with skinny fries, sweet potatoes followed by a dessert - all really fresh and yummy.

Holiday Inn Executive Room - Room View
This is something which a lot of people want to know about when staying in hotels as some room views aren't great however, my room was on the upper level with a lovely view of the gardens - the hotel is quite large and you wouldn't know from the outside.
When walking round the hotel, you get glimpses of the garden space and there's a courtyard too which you can relax in.
Holiday Inn Executive Room - Minibar
In the executive room, the minibar / fridge is complimentary - with 2 large bottles of water, 1 still and 1 sparkling.
In my case, I had 2 sparkling waters even though one said still - along with a KitKat bar which is still in the fridge as I'm trying to cut out as much dairy and sugar as possible.
During my stay, I got a few bits and pieces which I kept stored in the fridge, great if you want to snack on something light in the evening - there's also a kettle with complimentary coffee, tea and milk too.
Black coffee, no sugar for me 😉
