Liezen is a district that is known for it’s ski resorts and 294 kilometres of slopes! A great getaway, you can see from the image that the beautiful resorts and buildings are nestled in the snowy mountains.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery and crisp white now whilst you visit the area before enjoying your time on the slopes.
The ski resorts within the district of Liezen are served by 123 Ski Lifts meaning you can have lots of fun on your skiing trip.
Tignes, France – Ski Resorts For 2024
If you don’t want to travel too far (from the UK) you can always head to France and specifically, the location of Tignes.
The slopes of Tignes are ideal for your ski trip and rise between 1550-3450m, making the location ideal for those who want to have a fun ski holiday.
High altitude resorts within the location tend to close their slopes around or just after the middle of April making this a great option for a Spring-Skiing Getaway!
Finland – Ski Resorts For 2024
Taking you to the beautiful slopes of Finland.
Surrounded by wonderful scenery, this is a beautiful location to visit for you lovely skiing environment.
There are 10 slopes within this location of Lahti and 70km of ski tracks with a ski centre and slopes to enjoy.
Zermatt, Switzerland – Ski Resorts For 2024
Now, we’re bringing you to the beautiful location of Zermatt, located in Switzerland.
This is amongst the highest slopes in Europe, reaching up to 3883m and here, you’ll also be able to find one of the highest ski resorts too.
Resting at the foot of one of the most famous mounts, yes, the Swiss Alps!
Seasoned skiers are welcome and can take advantage of the fantastic location and condition with their challenging slopes – even though there are slopes to suit everyone and all abilities.
However if skiing isn’t something for you, just sit back and relax as you take in the beautiful scenery and magnificent views of the mountains covered in beautiful soft snow.
Zermatt is beautiful and it’s the only European ski resort / village that is open all-year-round and where you’re pretty much guaranteed snow!
This is down to the position and location in the Alps and even though there’s plenty of snow to enjoy, you also get approximately 300 days of glorious sunshine – each year!
