Find Motivation Working From Home
Find Motivation Working From Home – Hello to all you lovely people reading this post, I hope you’re all well and having a great week so far, not too long till the weekend – yay! 🙂
I know that a lot of you like these types of posts as they provide you with inspiration and creativity which is something that we all need!
Find Motivation Working From Home – Create Your Space
I actually mean create your space – you need to have a designated place where you can go and work!
Just because you work from home, it doesn’t mean that you can slack or work as and when you like which is why I think it’s essential to create your own space.
I’ve recently created a new office space for myself and I’m now a lot more organised and happy – it really does make a lot of difference and by simply creating your space the way you want it, you’ll get things done a lot more efficiently than if you were to be in an office from 8-6….
Create a space that you want to be in, that will inspire you and that will make you feel happy – all of this will allow you to remain motivated and get work done!
Find Motivation Working From Home – Find The Balance
You need to find the balance when working from home, it’s not all work and it’s not all play – I find that working for a few hours and then having half an hour or even an hour break makes a difference!
I feel refreshed, happy and this way I feel able to work late into the night too….
Again, this all comes back to having a lovely ‘space’ to work in – make it right for you and your needs!
Find Motivation Working From Home – Stay Organised
I cannot stay unorganised – it just doesn’t work with me, even if I leave a notebook out of it’s place…. it puts me off!?
I like having everything nice, neat, clean and tidy – I mean, even my beauty products are all sorted and organised into brand, size and colour order…. I’m not even joking! 🙂
If you have an office or workspace, you can keep things neat and organised – I find having pretty accessories always helps too and gives you that excuse to shop! 😉
Like I’ve mentioned above, I’ve recently sorted out my office space – complete with two lovely white desks and lots of pretty accessories, files and folders – not forgetting candles, flowers and pictures!
On one side of my desk, I have drawers and in there I’ve sorted everything into categories – one drawer has all my paperwork and press-releases, one has my notebooks and little folders, the other has beauty products which have been sent to me to review and the other is still empty.
This helps me keep on track of things but I know that in a few weeks I’ll probably change everything again – for now, it works! 🙂
Find Motivation Working From Home – Staying Happy
Overall, you want your work space to be a place where you can find motivation, be inspired, stay organised and overall be happy!
If you’re not happy in your workspace (or home) the negative energy will make it’s way through to your work and mind.
Find Motivation Working From Home – What You Need
Ok, so below I’ve selected a few things which I think are ‘essentials’ to having in your workspace, a few of these I have and a few I’m going to add….. any excuse for shopping really – haha! 🙂
– If you’re limited with space, this will work wonders for you as not only do you get a desk but you have a shelf unit too!!
– Perfect for that extra storage space! Add shelves in the cabinets to keep things organised!
– Looking for extra storage? This works wonders! Perfect for your notes and pretty accessories!
– I have this in pink for my macbook, a cute way to add some colour to your office, especially if everything is white! 🙂
– Such a lovely way to add some colour and without any hassle! These look real and are perfect for using in your blog photography too!
So, there we have some of my tips on finding motivation when working from home plus a few of the essentials will help you stay motivated.
It’s all about making your workspace a place for you – buy things that make you happy and keep them around the room whether it’s a motivational quote, pictures, candles or little accessories…..

I am planning a complete Ikea rampage as I totally agree that you have to have the right space physically to get mentally focused, I am so bad though I use my bed a lot and it doesn’t get me in the zone! xxx
Hahaha – got to love IKEA!!! It’s great and you can find so many gorgeous things for the home!!! 🙂 xxx
You give great ways to stay happy and excited about WFH. I have to say, that’s something I’ve always struggled with as I’m sure many people have. I think it’s hard to take it all seriously.. I’ll never be a 9-5er but I do love offices 😉 Just showed your insta lots of love!!! What a following you have!! I am uber impressed!!

This was just what I needed! I work from home but I don’t have the space in my home for a designated office until the garage gets converted, so at the moment I’m confined to my bedroom! I can’t wait until I have my own space I can personalise! Thanks for sharing 🙂
