A lot of people think that because avocados are higher in fat, they're not healthy but - that's not the case!
The fat which is in an avocado is considered to be healthy fat with lots of benefits that are great for your body.
One avocado contains around 10 grams of fibre, Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Potassium and Magnesium, all of which are great for you, your diet and your body.

It's packed with healthy nutritional essentials that you need in your diet and if you have it breakfast, it's something which will keep your fuller for longer.

Ok, so like we've mentioned - it's a favourite breakfast and snack option.
Layla will either have her avocado toast plain with a few chia seeds sprinkled on top or she'll get creative and below we have some topping ideas for you.

Avocado Bagel - instead of having it on toast, try it on a bagel!
Avocado Toast - Instead of keeping things plain, sprinkle a few chia seeds and pine nuts over the avocado toast.
Avocado & Tomato Toast - This can also be eaten on a bagel but it's a lot easier on toast. Over the avocado toast, cut up a few plum tomatoes and drizzle some balsamic vinegar over it.
Avocado & Mushroom Toast - When you have a bit more time, cook some chestnut mushrooms in your preferred way and add them on your avocado toast.
Make sure all recipes are seasoned well with salt and pepper.

Avocado on bagels is my go to breakfast it’s so yummy. It’s so true that a lot of people think that the fat is unhealthy, but I like that you’re sharing that it’s actually still healthy xxx
