Packaging
One thing that I love about The Body shop is the simplicity with their packaging however with this, I would have liked an illustration of the fruit used, in this case - raspberry.
It's very sleek and very simple but I do like the colour of the packaging - pink is always a lovely choice and gives it a pretty touch for the photos.

Ingredients & Formulation
The Body Shop is one of my go-to brands, I love their products however for me, the Vitamin E range is something that I prefer using in the colder months - when my skin needs a hydration boost.
Formulated with hyaluronic acid, bio-fermented wheat-germ and raspberry extract containing Vitamin E.

Texture
On their website, The Body Shop say that this is a fast-absorbing, oil-free gel moisture cream so I was excited to try this - especially this time of year when I tend to use lighter products.
The texture is really lovely - it is in fact a gel cream with a cooling sensation when applied and as you can see in the picture, it even has a subtle shimmer to it, giving your skin a beautiful, healthy glow.
However - the downside is that this didn't sink into my skin as quickly as I would have liked and felt a little bit too heavy for my skin during this time of year.
As you all know, I use lighter / refreshing products in the summer months and switch to more luxurious, nourishing products in the colder months as this is what works for my skin.
So, that's why, from a personal point of view, I'll be using this during the autumn and winter months as I know it'll suit my skin perfectly - providing the hydration it needs and protecting it from the cold, harsh weather.
Not forgetting the lovely glow thanks to the subtle shimmer in the cream.
I'd also say that this makes a great hand cream too as it smells amazing!

This is why The Body Shop is one of my go-to brands, I love the fact that they don't test on animals so of course, this needs a mention!
Do I Recommend The Cream?
If you have oily/combination skin, I'd say this might be a bit too heavy for you however The Body Shop does have other great ranges to check out such as or .
If you have normal/dry skin then this would work for you as it's an ultra-hydrating product but if you prefer lightweight products in the summer months like me, wait and get this in the Autumn / Winter months.

I have never used The Body Shop products yet. This cream sounds so good. Love the light pink color. I want to try the different face masks too, that are available by the brand. Love reading your posts Layla. 🙂
