Rosa Noir Perfume – MOR Boutique
Perfume, it’s something that we all love and in this post, I’m writing about the Rosa Noir Perfume from MOR Boutique.
You will have seen MOR Boutique being featured on Sprinkles of Style, remember these macaron lip balms ?
Since then, I’ve been checking out different items from the brand and came across this…
Rosa Noir Perfume – MOR Boutique: Packaging
For me, MOR Boutique feels like a luxury brand and it’s not only down to the quality of their products.
If you look at the packaging, you’ll see that the brand pays a lot of attention to detail.
The gold writing, the rose floral drawings and the detail on the bottle – there’s a luxury touch that makes the brand stand out.
Rose Noir Perfume – MOR Boutique: Fragrance Notes
I’ve said it before but I think that one of the most difficult things about writing beauty product reviews is describing a scent – especially when it comes to perfumes.
When a beauty product is scented, it’s relatively easy to describe.
With perfumes however, you have the top, middle and base notes – the overall blend of ingredients.
Looking at the packaging, you instantly assume that it’s going to be a really heavy / evening perfume but that’s not the case.
Seductive, sweet and with a freshness that just cuts through – lifting the perfume.
Top Notes – Freesia, Ivy Leaves, Petitgrain.
Heart / Middle Notes – Carnation, Rose, Lily of the Valley.
Base Notes – Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Musk.
Rose Noir Perfume – MOR Boutique: Lasting Power
I personally think that the most important thing about a perfume is it’s lasting power.
You can find the most beautiful smelling perfume but quickly realise that it doesn’t have the lasting power.
So, how long does the Rose Noir Perfume last?
I can’t say that one spritz of perfume is enough to last all day but if you use 5-6 spritz’s – you can still smell the scent at the end of the day and that’s really good.
I tend to use one spritz on my wrists, one spritz on either side of my neck, one spritz on my top/dress and one spritz above my head – as a hair fragrance.
A lot of you will think this is a lot but it works for me and I smell nice all day long haha!
Of course, you can keep this in a handbag and add an extra spritz or two throughout the day.
Rosa Noir Perfume – MOR Boutique: Shop The Scent
If you’re looking to add a new fragrance to your perfume collection, I recommend this.
The reason? You get the best of sweet and fresh – it’s a beautiful combination and my current go-to perfume.
I’ve got this on my desk and as I’m writing, I can smell a delicate floral fragrance from the box.
It really is a lovely perfume so check out the shopping link below.
– AU $69.95 which translates to around £38.
An absolute bargain when you consider just how expensive perfumes are!
I always love reading your comments so let me know what you think.
Are you a fan of MOR Boutique? Have you smelt this perfume and if so – what did you think?
