Layla's back with a new product review and in this post, she's writing about a newly-purchased perfume. The Yves Saint Laurent: Black Opium Eau De Toilette.

Yves Saint Laurent: Black Opium Eau De Toilette

This is the YSL Black Opium Eau de Toilette Perfume - it's a new (lighter) edition to the original Black Opium. (Pictured Below)

The perfume bottle is now dressed in lovely pink and black glitter so it'll look even prettier on your vanity table.

A blend of black coffee, white flowers and vanilla are electrified with top notes of citrus and pear - a beautiful scent all year round but especially for the spring/summer days ahead.

Yves Saint Laurent: Black Opium Eau De Toilette - Packaging

As you can see, the perfume comes in a lined black box which compliments the whole theme of Black Opium.

Inside, it's double-lined to protect the bottle and on the outside, as you can just see - the YSL logo has added glitter which again compliments the bottle and glitter theme.

TIP: Keep perfumes in their boxes - the sunlight may change the scent and it'll also protect when travelling.

Yves Saint Laurent: Black Opium Eau De Toilette - Scent

I purchased this perfume on my latest travel after spotting it in Heathrow - I'd always wanted to purchase the original as I love sweeter scents however this version has a refreshing twist to it which is lovely - especially with the warmer days ahead.

If you know me, you'll know that I love products which sparkle and just look at how beautiful this is!

The scent is sweet with a refreshing touch. From the morning this easily lasts until late-afternoon/early-evening. If you're going out for a meal - an extra spritz won't hurt anyone! 😉
