LUSH Twilight Body Spray Review

Lush Says:In need of a seriously good sleep? A spritz of Twilight Body Spray will help ease your worries and soothe your mind. A sleepy scented lullaby of Tonka and Ylang Ylang – use as a comforting perfume or lavender pillow spray to help you sleep at night.

As a lot of you know, I really enjoy testing out new products so when I was kindly sent this spray from Lush – I was intrigued.

After reading the press description, I imagined this being another lavender spray – (you know the kind) helping to calm and soothe however I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised as this is much more than just a soothing sleep spray.

LUSH Twilight Body Spray Review – Packaging

In true Lush style, this comes in it’s sleep black bottling with the co-ordinating branding (just like the Lush website too – it’s all black.)

As we know, the brand keeps everything simple in regards to their packaging. Calling it “naked” packaging.

The bottle size is 200ml – an OK size which comes with a spray pump which you can see pictured below.

The red clip can be moved to the side allowing you to spritz the spray onto your bedding. When it’s moved back into the original position (as shown in the photo) it ‘locks’ and doesn’t allow the spray to be, well – spritzed!

A handy feature if you’re keeping this in your handbag….

Lush Twilight Body Spray Review – Scent

I am so surprised with how beautiful this smells. Just like I mentioned further above, I thought this would be a very rich lavender fragrance helping to calm and promote sleep but it’s not the case.

With just one spritz, you get a beautifully rich, sweet fragrance of Tonka and Ylang Ylang which is then followed by subtle lavender.

I think that Tonka is the main standout ingredient / fragrance in this spray as it’s an extremely sweet, creamy – almost vanilla-like scent combined with sweet Ylang Ylang.

Lavender is much more a background note which kicks in after a few seconds – providing a soothing, calmness.

Whilst this does help to soothe and calm, personally, for me this is a spray which I’ll be using as a body spray instead of a pillow spray as it’s a lovely, go-to scent.

Lush Twilight Body Spray Review – Price

Priced at £20 for 200ml – this isn’t cheap however Lush pride themselves in the fact that everything is handmade with ethical buying and this is what I love about them as a brand – along with fighting against animal testing!

With Lush, it’s the little details that count and on the back of the bottle (you may be able to just see the green sticker in the photo above) you can see the traditional Lush sticker showing you who made the product – it’s things like this which make Lush stand out.

Overall

Do I recommend this? Yes I do! Even if you’re on a budget – I would still recommend this, it’s vegan too!

It really is a beautiful fragrance but like I mentioned above, I prefer using this as a body spray compared to a pillow spray.

The sweetness from Tonka is just beautiful and if you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you’ll know that I love my sweet scents. 🙂

Well done Lush. Another lovely product and I can’t wait to see more…

xx
