La Suite West Vegan Afternoon Tea Review
Hello Everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Happy Monday to you all! 🙂
As some of you might have seen on my Instagram Page, last week I was invited to La Suite West to experience their Vegan Afternoon Tea!
I didn’t really know what to expect on their menu but I was lucky enough to try their Winter Edition of Afternoon Tea which will be available until February (my birthday month) when they switch to their spring/summer menu!
I’ll be writing as much detail as possible below and I’ll cover everything I can but what’s more – I’ve even filmed a video from my visit which you can see at the bottom of this post! 🙂
La Suite West Vegan Afternoon Tea Review – About La Suite West
La Suite West is a luxury boutique hotel which is known for it’s Japanese-Minimalist vibe.
Created by renowned designer Anouska Hempel, everything has been finished to a high-quality standard and the luxury can be felt from the moment you walk into the reception area.
Located within walking distance to Hyde Park and Paddington Station – if you’re staying overnight and want to explore the area, there are shops just around the corner (literally) so you have everything you need right on your doorstep.
La Suite West Vegan Afternoon Tea Review – First Impression
La Suite West is located in such a beautiful area – it’s quiet enough to escape the hustle and bustle of the city yet everything is located nearby so you’re not missing out on anything.
From the outside, you can immediately spot the hotel – it’s a grande, beautiful building and outside you have the outdoor seating area for the vegan restaurant which is decorated with lanterns and fairy lights – extremely pretty and I can only assume that in summer it will be absolutely stunning!
The entrance to La Suite West is quirky and very minimalist – it’s lined with candles that led to the entrance/reception area.
In the reception area I was greeted by such a sweet lady – she knew who I was and made me feel extremely welcome which is lovely when you’re in a new environment.
On the day, it was raining and very cold – the fireplace in the reception area was perfect upon arriving and added such a cosy (and warm) touch too!

Once I arrived in the restaurant area, I was greeted by Christina – a lovely member of staff who took care of me during my visit!
She asked me where I would like to sit and as you’ll be able to see in the video – I chose a lovely little corner that was out of the way and by the window too.
Christina provided me with a menu and asked me what I would like to drink – I picked a Latte with Almond Milk and was also given non-alcoholic fruit fizz, it tasted so yummy! 🙂
After a few minutes, my coffee arrived and within no time – I was munching on the yummy finger sandwiches and savoury canapés! They were presented in such a lovely way – extremely neat and following the minimalist style.
Christina was really lovely and checked in every so often to make sure everything was OK and to see if I wanted another drink or another coffee.
Once I had finished my sandwiches, she brought over the warm home-made scones – they were presented beautifully and it was more a mountain of scones as you can see in the picture (and video) below! 😀
After a little break, I went and had a look round the hotel and once I got back to my seat – the desserts were served!
Again, presented beautifully and following the minimalist vibe, everything was so crisp and neat – truly beautiful!

As I’ve mentioned above, I didn’t really know what to expect with the menu but everything I tried tasted wonderful!
The flavours and ingredients all complimented one another.
The only thing that I think could have been better, in my opinion, was the Gingerbread Loaf – this was quite dry but other than that everything else was perfect!

I was so impressed by La Suite West and I cannot thank them all enough for being so lovely to me during my visit!
If yore in the area or if you’re looking for something different to try then I definitely recommend you check them out! You won’t be disappointed and you’ll experience luxury with a difference.
The menu is unique, everything tasted lovely and the flavours all complimented one another perfectly!
I mean, the coconut “cream” was such a dream with the warm home-made scones and fresh strawberries!
I also loved the sandwiches, the crispy kale and the Carrot Cake with Mulled Wine Spice Cranberry & Orange Topping!! Yum, yum!

La Suite West Hotel – Parking
On another note, I didn’t go to the hotel by train – I drove and found parking easily just across the street! I called the parking provider, entered the number of hours I would be staying and paid over the phone.
There’s also a parking facility right by the hotel that includes security cameras if you’re staying overnight.

LOVE this post girl! Myself and Ben stayed at this hotel and enjoyed dinner there – I was surprised by how much I really loved the food! The afternoon tea looks/sounds amazing!
