MAC Prep and Prime CC Colour Correct Collection Spring 2014
This time of year sees all the brand bringing out their new collections for spring and summer and MAC is always one people seem to look out for.
[pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]The collection is all about priming, prepping and colour correcting and will be available this Spring![/pullquote]
A lot of fellow bloggers are starting to think that perhaps MAC are bringing out too many collections in a year with all the celebrity collaborations and limited edition sets but it’s always fun seeing the new colours, pigments and textures and of course writing about the new collections on here!
The new collection is all about prepping, priming and colour correcting and below I have all the information, you can scroll through the pictures above to see the products.

I like mac collections but i do agree there are so many its hard to buy many prodcts.
The collections are lovely but I do understand you, sometimes there needs to be a limit as to ow many collaborations and collections you launch! 🙂 xxx
My skin is a bit dull what colour would I need to use?
I can’t say as I haven’t seen your skin but I’ve listed some info below – hopefully that will help! 🙂
Purple/Lilac is normally used to tone down very yellow skin and is also used when skin is looking dull especially during the winter months when your skin loses the beautiful ‘summer’ glow.
Apricot is what I would use for my skin to give me a healthy, luminous glow.
Peachy/Beige – This can be used on the under eye area to down pinky areas.
I haven’t tried the products myself but normally colour correcting products are not enough…you need to apply a concealer or tinted moisturiser for the best effect! 🙂
I hope that helped xx
This sounds awesome, I love correcting bases as they can really make skin look so healthy! Have you tried it? x
Hi Janine, no I haven’t tried the products – yet!
Correcting bases do give skin a healthy, luminous glow when used right!! 🙂 xx
This sounds really nice but I don’t think this is something that I would be using. xx
Yes, if you don’t need any correcting then I’d stick to normal products which you like however if skin looks dull and just needs a boost I do think there’s some nice products! 🙂 xx
