Dukas Spring Summer 2014 Collection

As a lot of you know my family is Greek, I was born and raised in the UK however Greece has always been a place I love especially when I go and visit family and friends.

I love being able to work with so many brands from all over the world and as you’ve probably guessed I’ll be writing/featuring a Greek brand: Dukas – a high-end shoe and accessories brand from Greece.

About Dukas

Dukas (Dukas Chatzidoukas) was born in Thessaloniki on 11th September 1975.

Since 2003 the designer has taken the fashion world by storm after presenting 15 ‘Haute Couture’ Shoes at Alta Moda which were not only adored in Greece but by the rest of Europe and America.

Following 2003 Dukas continued to design and has collaborated with brands like Swarovski Hellas – creating an exclusive haute couture sandal for the Olympic games held in Athens in 2004, Estee Lauder Hellas – creating an exclusive accessory to reinforce the fight against breast cancer, participated in Paris Fashion Week and also worked with Rihanna when she visited Athens for a concert who wore the designers shoes.

Oh, where do I start with these fabulous shoes!?

After reading the amount of magazines I have, browsing through editorials and attending different shows I don’t think I’ve come across or seen shoes like these!

The shoes are in a league of their own, they’re completely unique however they’re really beautiful and everything has been perfected right down to the smallest detail.

From a satin effect, to patent shine, lace to suede, heel to wedge – every shoe is unique and beautiful in it’s own way which makes the collection really wonderful and perfect for summer!
