Vitamins You NEED On Your Skin!

As a lot of you know, I receive many emails from people asking about their skincare and makeup and over the past few weeks, there’s been such an increase in questions relating to skincare.

Many people seem to be suffering with breakouts and overall seeing that their skin hasn’t been behaving in it’s ‘normal’ way.

In this post, we’re going to be looking at the vitamins you NEED to add to your skincare routine – kick-starting the way back to that healthy glow and lovely clear skin.

VITAMIN A – Renew Your Skin

Known to help stimulate collagen production, this tricks the skin into acting young again, helping to produce new cells which results in fine lines looking ‘softer’ for a more youthful complexion.

Along with that, Vitamin A is a great ingredient which helps the skin’s natural renewal process and helps to remove any dead skin cells too – in effect ‘unclogging’ pores which can lead to breakouts.

Who Benefits? If you have fine lines, dull skin, oily skin or hormonal breakouts, this is a great ingredient to add to your skincare regime.

VITAMIN B – Nourish & Protect

A wonder ingredient for both oily and dry skin – hear me out!

Known for it’s strengthening properties, Vitamin B is key for the skin barrier – helping to lock in moisture whilst keeping bacteria out and boosting skin’s health.

Whilst this locks in moisture, it also helps to balance the skin – preventing the over production of sebum which causes breakouts and clogged pores making this a great ingredient for both oily and dry skin.

Who Benefits? If you have dry skin, look at adding Vitamin B to your skincare as it will help to ‘lock in’ moisture, keeping your skin healthy and hydrated.

In turn, if you suffer with oily skin, this will help to balance levels whilst protecting against bacteria.

Vitamin C – Regenerate and Heal

If you suffer with dry, dull, tired looking skin, make sure you add Vitamin C to your skincare (and diet) as it has the ability to regenerate and renew skin cells leaving you with a lovely glow.

A key ingredient in the anti-ageing process, this helps to boost your skin whilst helping to reduce the appearance of dark spots and can also help your skin heal faster, if damaged or scarred.

Who Benefits? If you have scarring from acne, dry, dull or tired looking skin, please add Vitamin C to your skincare regime and diet. You’ll notice a difference within 1-2 weeks.
