Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want Private Christening For Archie
The couple are set to break another Royal tradition as it has been reported by the Sunday Times that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want a private christening for Archie.
Expected to take place at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windor’s christening is expected to be totally private.
By totally private, it means no fans or members of the public gathering outside and no candid photos either.
(Photos are only expected to be released through Meghan and Harry’s Instagram).
It’s things like this which keep the media talking however they are a part of the royal family and at least some candid photos should be allowed to be taken.
For example, Kate Middleton and Prince William allowed press photographers to take candid photos of them and the family arriving and leaving at the christenings of their children.
Fans of the royal family want to see glimpses of the royals’ life – especially their children.
Meghan and Harry are living a luxurious lifestyle and things like this should be shared, even if it’s only a few candid photos, with the members of the public.
They can’t expect to use the media only when they want to highlight something and then to disregard the media on events like this.
Without the support of the media and public, the Royal Family wouldn’t be in the place it is so in events like this, I completely understand the negative comments and backlash when they announce something like this….
