Maybelline Green With Envy Nail Polish
I think everyone who follows and reads my blog knows that I LOVE my beauty products and when it comes to nail polishes I just cannot help myself.
I love browsing through all the colours and collections each time I visit Boots and more often than not I’ll buy 5-6 polishes….I’m that bad!
[pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]I thought that the Maybelline Green With Envy nail polish would be a wonderful dupe for the much-loved Essie Mint Candy Apple![/pullquote]
A couple of months ago I bought the Maybelline Green With Envy Nail Polish and embarrassingly I forgot about the photos, they were stuck in a little folder on my computer and I randomly found them when looking for other post pictures so here we are – yay!
As soon as I saw it in Boots I thought it would be a really good dupe for the much-loved Essie Mint Candy Apple.
Once I got home, I took my pictures and started attacking my nails with the glorious green polish and although it’s a lovely colour, it’s too rich and green to be a good dupe for the Essie Mint Candy Apple polish.
The brush is wonderful to use, it coats nails easily, quickly and doesn’t drag the polish or leave any streaks. In the pictures above I’m wearing 3 coats, I always apply 2-3 coats to ensure the colour really stands outs and looks good plus a top coat to keep nails looking shiny 🙂
Quality wise, it’s not great. After 1 day there was a few chips showing up but I change my nail polish colour every/every other day plus this is £2.99 so for the price you shouldn’t really expect much!
Even though the quality isn’t great, Maybelline have so many gorgeous colours available and at £2.99 I’m going to buy more…even if you wear the colour for 1 day it doesn’t matter….keep changing the colours and have fun! You can even do different designs with all the colours! 🙂
I always look forward to hearing from you lovely readers so if you’ve tried any of the colours or would like to then please let me know what you think of it! 🙂
