Make Your Blog Pictures Pretty

Make Your Blog Pictures Pretty – I love writing posts like these as I feel that it really helps all you lovely people get motivated and come up with ideas for your posts too!
For me, blogging is something that I really enjoy and it’s not just the writing that I like! It’s everything from thinking about my outfit posts, locations to shoot and what props to use in my beauty photos!
At the moment, as you can probably tell, I LOVE using flowers in my images but with the colder months on the way, feel like I’ll be switching to berry scented candles! Not that you’ll be able to smell them (I will) but for their beautiful, deep, rich shades!
Essentially, what you want is your images to be great quality so it’ll capture your readers eyes, look at the pictures above – it does just that!
Make Your Blog Pictures Pretty – Flowers
There’s a reason that bloggers use flowers in their blog photography, not only do they look great but they add such a vibrancy to your photos.
Look at the picture above, check out other bloggers and Instagram pages – you’ll see how much of a difference flowers make!
Make Your Blog Pictures Pretty – Candles
With Autumn and colder months on the way, I know that I’ll be buying more candles!
I feel that there’s something so pretty and kinda romantic about using candles in your blog photography – when lit, they even look like fairy lights and who doesn’t love those!?
Make Your Blog Pictures Pretty – Trays
OK, so this might be considered as ‘old fashioned’ but trays can be really great to make your blog pictures pretty!
I would personally choose silver or rose gold trays which work beautifully when teamed up with a small bunch of pink flowers for a really pretty ‘country‘ look!
Lay out your beauty products on the tray and co-ordinate your flowers in a corner, focus on the products to ‘blur’ the flowers and you’ll just have a beautiful colour contrasting with the crisp silver or delicate rose gold!
Below you can see some of the places I love to shop! 🙂
Make Your Blog Photos Pretty – Shop
Decorative Accessories – BHS
Artificial Flowers – Next
Home Accessories AND Metal Trays – H&M
They are my favourite places to shop and I am LOVING the H&M selection – there’s marble, gold and rose gold trays on there so please take a little look! 🙂
I always love hearing from you so let me know what you think!

Excellent post, Layla! Some great tips & insight. My favourite thing to see in someone’s background is flowers! I also really love textured backgrounds or simple white background is stunning as well ‘cos it makes the items pop.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, girlie, and leaving a sweet comment.
I will be coming back to yours with my wee comments if that’s ok 😉

These are all great tips. I need to get on top of things and get some pretty props. I know how to take beautiful photos of my dogs, scenery, etc., but I’ve never put in 100% of my effort for blog photos for some reason! You have me motivated!
