John Frieda Full Repair Hydrate Rescue Shampoo * £5.99
I was recently sent some wonderful products from John Frieda and I have to admit that it’s taken a lot longer to get this post online compared to ‘normal‘ beauty products.
I feel that I have to test products out as much as possible to write a fair review and with haircare I’d rather spend a little longer testing it out.
For those of you who read and follow my blog you’ll know that I have long, wavy hair which is prone to dry ends.
After being contacted by John Frieda and told about the Full Repair Range I was really intrigued to find out more especially as my hair needs all the moisture it can get. So after being sent the products…I started testing them and in this post I’ll be talking writing about John Frieda Full Repair Hydrate Shampoo.
John Frieda Full Repair Hydrate Rescue Shampoo Packaging.
I’m a weird one with packaging, this is the first thing I look at as I think many people do too, then I’ll read what it’s actually meant to do 🙂
I love the colour of it, it’s a deep shimmery red colour which is really nice, there’s nothing fancy about it but it’s the simplicity of it which I love!
Looking at the picture you can see all the details listed on the front, it claims to ‘replenish moisture without weighing hair down‘ – so far so good!
John Freida Full Repair Hydrate Rescue Shampoo
So from the very first use I have to say I have been impressed with the product. You need such a little amount as it lathers up so, so much!
I have long, wavy hair which normally needs a good handful of shampoo but with this around 10p was enough for all my hair….watch them bubbles!!!
I’d also like to point out how incredible the smell is, it’s such a sweet, floral scent which I absolutely love, even if this didn’t work on my hair I would get it for the smell alone! That’s how much I love the fragrance 🙂
After rinsing my hair and before applying conditioner, I could actually feel that my hair was a lot softer compared to when I use my normal shampoo.
Fast forward to styling time and my hair really did feel a lot softer and nourished – I am impressed with this!
Would I recommend the John Frieda Repair Hydrate Rescue Shampoo?
Yes! 100% I would really recommend this to everyone, if you suffer with dry, dehydrated hair which needs moisture then this is something you will love using.
Your hair will feel a lot softer, nourished and hydrated which in turn makes you have a good hair day! 🙂
Let me know if you have tried this shampoo and what your thoughts have been!
