Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – Hey everyone! I hope you’ll had a wonderful weekend!!

In this post I’m going to be writing about the Clarins Instant Lip Comfort Oil and as some of you might know, these were initially limited edition products however due to the popular demand – they’re back!

So, let’s get going with this review – I think you’re going to love it! 🙂

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – Packaging

As always, these come packaged in the standard bright red Clarins packaging, it’s so well known that this is the ‘Tiffany’s‘ of beauty so to speak! The little red box you might say…..

Inside you can see the two lip oils, they look beautiful, professional and like a high-end luxury product (which they are) but what I like about them most is that they look like glass however they’re actually a really good quality plastic!

This means you don’t have to worry about them falling and smashing – especially if you have marble or tiled flooring!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – Applicator

I tried to show you the applicator in the images below and to most of you they might look like a standard wand but it’s not – it’s a lot thicker than a normal ‘lip gloss wand‘ and has a curve to it meaning you have much more control allowing for easier application.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – Texture

Considering that these are classed as an ‘oil’ that’s what I thought I’d be dealing with when they landed on my desk however after using them, I’d describe them as a high-end / luxury lipgloss.

What do I mean by a high-end / luxury lipgloss? I mean, they apply (and look) like  lipgloss however they’re so lightweight and super-nourishing that it’s like you’re just wearing a lip balm.

No stickiness either!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – How / When To Use?

OK, so I think this will be asked quite a lot due to their lovely texture and fact that they contain such a blend of beautiful ingredients so below I’ve listed how and when to use each one! 🙂

Honey 01 (Yellow)

This is the most natural of the two – it’s like a clear gloss when applied so I’d recommend using this when wearing a smokey eye or in the evening before bed to hydrate and nourish.

Raspberry 02 (Pink

As you can probably tell, this is the ‘colourful‘ one out of the two but it’s not that colourful – it just adds a touch of pink, think of a tinted lip balm.

It’s natural and very delicate making this perfect for days when you just want to add a little bit of colour – I wouldn’t recommend using this before bed as there is a slight tint to it.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – Overall

Overall, I’d say get them both – you’ll use them endlessly and they’re perfect to use all year round!!

With the cold weather ahead, they’re great as they’ll actually protect your skin, hydrate and of course – nourish!

I’ve been using these the past couple of weeks and I can honestly say they’re better than a balm – in hours you can see a difference in how smooth your skin is!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Review – Ingredients / Formula

OK, so a little extra in this section – I’m so impressed by these lip comfort oils that I went ahead and looked at the formula / ingredients which are used.

Both Clarins Lip Oils are rich in active plant ingredients to comfort and moisturise your lips with no oiliness or stickiness (high-end quality) and the formula is a blend of natural (carefully chosen) essential oils and pure plant oils.

Some of the ingredients used – Hazelnut Oil (acts as a natural preservative) Mirabelle (for the honey shade – prevents dehydration) Raspberry Oil (used in raspberry shade – anti-oxidant) and Organic Jojoba Oils to nourish and moisturise.

There’s a reason that I love Clarins – it’s for products and formulas like these which stand-out from the crowd…designed to work for your skin from the very first use!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil – Purchase

You can purchase these from the Clarins Website by clicking:

Priced at £18 each I think it’s great, these will easily last you between 3-9 months (each) with daily use!

For the quality, the formula, the ingredients used and the fact that these start working in hours (you can see/feel it) means it’s definitely worth it and I recommend it 100%!

I would love, love, love to hear from you – have you tried them before when they were limited edition?

I’d love to know what you all think – these could actually be great little stocking fillers too! 🙂
