After Christmas (and changing your life for the better!)

After-Christmas

After Christmas (and changing your life for the better) – So, it’s Boxing Day and I really can’t believe how quickly time has gone by!

It feels like it was only yesterday that the Christmas decorations were going up and the shopping list was being tackled however it’s the day after Christmas which always, ALWAYS makes me think……

Why do we build ourselves up for just one day? Why does a certain day bring us together with our family and loved ones? We should be happy and enjoying everyday regardless of the occasion!

In the run up to New Year, instead of thinking about ‘How to become a better you‘ think about ‘How you can change your life for the better‘ – seize more opportunities, take chances you wouldn’t normally take and make time for the people who matter most to you.

I believe that everything happens for a reason however most of us end up getting stuck in a routine and we get used to our surroundings and situation – make a change and take a chance, you’ll see that things will work out for the better!

Always remember to stay positive, even when things get tough – you’ll suddenly see that sparkle of light at the end of the tunnel so instead of thinking about how to become a better you – think about making the most of your life and enjoying every minute of it.

If you don’t enjoy things now, you’ll only end up looking back and thinking about the chances you didn’t take!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!! 🙂

xxxxx

Hope you had a lovely Christmas and a great start to the year 🙂 It is so true, we should make such efforts all year, not just once a year, and trying to find the positive in every situation will definitely make life seem brighter 🙂

    Happy New Year Hun 🙂

Great post. I couldn’t agree with you more about feeling stuck in comfortable surroundings. In 2015 I got out of my comfort zone and I couldn’t be happier. Wishing you an awesome 2016 !

I definitely agree with this post. I don’t build myself up anymore. I just enjoy what I have with who I’m with, and I’m aiming to make every moment of my life worth celebrating.
Don’t get me wrong, my Christmas was great, because when you write posts like this, people immediately think that you don’t have family to share Christmas with or that you have something against it which isn’t the case. You just started thinking intelligently.
People need to know this. Thanks for the post.xx

This is wonderful advice!! I never like to make unrealistic New Years revolutions but I love the sound of this one! It’s simple enough and can easily be achieved if you just try a bit harder!!
