Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette Review and Makeup Tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all well – it’s been a little while since I’ve shared a makeup tutorial with you and now, we have the perfect excuse!

Urban Decay are always super-kind to me and they sent me the lovely Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette which is fast becoming one of my go-to palettes for daily and evening makeup looks!

There’s everything you need so let’s carry on with the review!

Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette Review – Packaging

Urban Decay are known for their bold packaging, eye-catching designs and pops of colour and as you can see in the images – this palette is definitely no exception!

What I love about this, is that it’s sleek, professional looking and has a touch of luxury and elegance that attracts your attention.

I love the extra detail like the colourful UD (Urban Decay) logo and the detail on the top part of the case and along the edges – it’s little details like this which add luxury to a brand’s products.

Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette Review – Colours

There’s 21 colours in this eyeshadow palette and there’s definitely something for everyone as there’s such a variety!

You get delicate shades that can be used alone during the day to brighten the eyes or used as the base for your smokey eye looks, you get a variety of beautiful, bold colours too which can be used to add that depth to a smokey eye or a touch of fun!

All the colours are extremely pigmented – a little goes a long way and you can easily build-up and create the desired effect!

Tip – Use a bold blue or purple when creating a smokey eye as this will add a touch of colour, brighten your eyes and make your eye colour pop too! 🙂 (I’ve done this in the video below)

Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette Review – Accessories

I always like mentioning any little accessories which are added in a palette – believe it or not, there’s still palettes out there that don’t have a mirror!

That’s not the case here – Urban Decay are always one step ahead and think of their customers and in this palette you get a huge mirror so you can create lovely looks on the go and use it for travels too!

I also LOVE the makeup brush which is included with this palette! I’m normally not a fan of the brushes that are provided in palettes as they are so cheap and feel awful but this is an eyeshadow brush that I actually enjoy using!

It’s soft to use, delicate on the skin and double sided – I used the large side for applying the base colours and the smaller side for blending the crease colours and ‘smoking’ the make-up for a beautiful look.
