This is a little follow up from the Satsuma Body Sorbert Review I did a few weeks back, if you liked that one then you’ll be loving this one too! 🙂
A few weeks ago I was sent some beautiful products from The Body Shop, the body sorbets are unlike any other product I’ve tried and I think they’re lovely to be using all year round to keep skin soft and smooth.
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet – Packaging
The packaging of this is really lovely and has the traditional simplistic look that The Body Shop is known for. I love how they always show you the main ingredient/fruit used in the product and in this case it’s Pink Grapefruit!
It’s in a squeeze tube which is lovely as it keeps things hygienic and makes things a lot easier to reply.
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet – Texture
Ah! The texture is absolutely beautiful and quite unique!
I expected this to be a cream but it’s not, it’s actually got a sorbet feeling to it….when you eat sorbet it’s sort of like crushed ice but creamier….this is how it feels on the skin – just not as cold!
When applied skin feels super smooth and soft and like you’ve applied a silicone based primer, so silky and smooth.
Does it sound weird? Yes, probably but this is one of the NICEST products I’ve used for my body, it’s really hydrating, softening and just plain gorgeous!

This is a wonder product for all year round but I think I’ll love using it even more in the summer due to it’s scent.
The Body Shop takes pride in their products and as I’ve found with many, they always seem to get the scent right.
This is so fresh and revitalising and smells EXACTLY like a grapefruit that’s just been cut in half, for example if I closed my eyes and someone held a grapefruit in front of me and the body sorbet I don’t think I would be able to tell the difference – it’s that good 🙂
The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet – Lasting
I tend to apply my body lotions and creams after having a shower or a bath, products get absorbed by the skin a lot faster and skin feels a lot better.
I do the same with this product too but I’ve also found myself applying it in the morning as the scent is so refreshing that it makes me feel a lot better and ready for the day – Superwoman is here 😀
Using it on my arms and legs it just makes skin look and feel really healthy, smooth and nourished plus the scent fades slightly so you can just pick up notes throughout the day.
If you love the pink grapefruit scent you could also spritz one of their body mists to make the scent stronger and last longer.

Priced at just £8 I think this is wonderful, you only use little amount as it goes a long way so I would say with daily use this would last probably around 3-4 months and I think that’s very good considering the price.
