How To Make Your Bedroom Feel Cozy – OK, so I know that this isn’t what you want to be reading on a Monday as 9 times out of 10 – this is where you want to STAY on a Monday morning!

I recently realised that I haven’t updated the Home Decor category in a while and seeing as I’ve just gotten back from shopping, I thought this would be a good post! 🙂

How To Make Your Bedroom Feel Cozy – On A Budget

So, if you’ve been following the blog for some time, you’ll have seen me write that you don’t need to spend thousands on furniture – all you need is to think outside the box.

Picking accessories for the room is better than the furniture itself as you can make things the way you want them to look – choose a theme, a colour or a style that you like and stick with it – make things unique for you!

If you’re on a budget here are my favourite stores to shop from!

– I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of IKEA – from vases & plates to throws and rugs, all you need is here!

– Looking for something a bit more unique? I could spend hours in my local store as there’s such a variety of items from budget and affordable to high-end and luxury!

– A store which doesn’t really get the hype it deserves, look closely and you’ll find true gems here! 🙂

How To Make Your Bedroom Feel Cozy – The Essentials

Everyone is different but like I’ve said above, it’s the accessories that will make a room feel cozy and here are some of my “essentials” on how to make your bedroom feel cozy! 🙂

– I love having cushions, especially on a king-size bed! There’s so much room and you can easily layer and create the luxury-look for less! Big / Plump pillows at the back and dainty ones at the front.

– I love throws across a big, snuggly duvet and I tend to have a throw lined along the bottom quarter of the bed and then one across one edge – like in the picture above! Again there’s something just so lovely about throws, they add a cozy-chic vibe to the room!

– You don’t need to go all out with these, you could buy a matching set from IKEA and simply change the handles! White or mirrored cabinets look gorgeous teamed with diamante handles! 🙂

– One of the best accessories for any room! Mirrors look gorgeous as they reflect the light around the room and give the appearance of more space – in bedrooms, I love the vanity mirrors, especially like the one you can see in the picture above just behind the bedside cabinet – giving you the luxury look, for less!

So there we have some tips on how to make your bedroom feel cozy! It doesn’t take a lot and it’s more or less down to your imagination, your personal preference and your theme.
