With the Elie Saab Resort 2020 collection, we have serious summer vibes – take a look at the location. Rocky surroundings overlooking the Mediterranean, it’s enough to make you want to pack your bags and go on holiday ASAP!
Coming back to the collection however, we can see that this year, designers have created collections for everyone. Providing the best of bold prints and colours to more muted tones which we’d normally see in winter collections.
I like seeing the contrast within a range and when there’s something for everyone – it just means that designers have given things that extra thought.
You’ll be able to see bold colours, floral prints, lace embroidered gowns, ruffles and some serious lovely layering techniques.
There’s nothing basic or simple about the collection but the way things have been styled, it shows you that you can take inspiration for your own looks.
For example – look at the photo above (the right one) and the take note of the floral top layered over bootleg trousers. Simple yet elegant.
