Clarins ‘ The Essentials’ Eye Make-Up Palette – Christmas Make-Up

You all know that I’m a huge fan of Clarins, they have such a variety of lovely products, both skincare and make-up and I’m extremely lucky and grateful for being able to work with them.

I was kindly sent this gorgeous palette you see pictured above, it’s the Clarins ‘The Essentials’ eye make-up palette and I think it’ll be a hit for creating some wonderful looks this Christmas – yes, I said the ‘C’ word 😉

Clarins ‘The Essentials’ Eye Make-Up Palette – Christmas Make-Up – Packaging

I love ‘higher-end’ products as you can see they take pride in everything including the packaging of the product.

This comes in the normal Clarins red packaging and even though it’s simple it’s really sleek and elegant looking plus red at Christmas works wonders!

Take the box out of the packaging and you’ve got a really lovely case which even has a band around it to keep the palette/colours safe.

Open the box and you’ve got a little mirror on the inside of the case and all colours are displayed beautifully – none of them are named but the are numbered as seen in the pictures above.

The tray of colours itself actually comes out of the casing too which I quite like!

You also get a lovely wooden double-ended make-up brush/applicator so this would actually be a really lovely palette to take away on holiday as you get 10 gorgeous colours for all occasions!

Clarins ‘The Essentials’ Eye Make-Up Palette – Christmas Make-Up – Colours

This is such a gorgeous palette as you get 10 lovely mineral eye shadows all of which can be used dry and wet to create a variety of lovely looks. They’re matte, satin and pearl finishes so it means you can easily go from a day to night look.

As you can see in the pictures above, it’s a relatively ‘natural’ palette and all the colours will compliment you no matter your eye colour or skin tone.

Clarins ‘The Essentials’ Eye Make-Up Palette – Christmas Make-Up – Texture

The texture of these is really lovely and even though it’s a powder it feels like silk when applied on the skin, they’re all extremely smooth and VERY easy to blend.

You can also use these wet and what I tend to do is use add a touch of water to my eyeliner brush or blending shadow brush, dip it into the eye shadow and apply as needed.

When used wet they just feel like applying a liquid liner but within seconds it’s dry and budge proof!

Clarins ‘The Essentials’ Eye Make-Up Palette – Christmas Make-Up – Video

Here is a little video of me using the Clarins the essentials eye make-up palette to create a christmas smokey eye party makeup look – it’s lovely and not too dramatic so it’s suitable for everyone, the more dramatic version is on the way haha 🙂

As you can see the palette has so many beautiful colours and I love the glitter in the centre – in this video all the colours have been used dry, I have another video coming soon with the colours used with a damp make-up brush so you can see the difference in looks 🙂

Please Subscribe to my youtube channel too to keep up to date with new videos 🙂

Clarins ‘The Essentials’ Eye Make-Up Palette – Christmas Make-Up – Purchase

You can purchase this gorgeous palette from Clarins for just £35, considering that mineral plant extracts are used, the variety of colours, the wooden double-sided brush and how long this will last you it’s such a good price!  Links below! 🙂

Hello sweetness, what a lovely makeup look! Smokey eyes are such a classic and a favorite of mine. Thank you for reviewing Clarins natural eye shadow palette – now you’re making me want to go get it but I already have a bunch of natural eye shadows. So much dilemma, hehe. I really like the blush color, looks good on you 🙂 xoxo

I also love ‘higher-end’ products due to the attractive appearance and high product quality. This palette looks gorgeous and it’s no wonder when it’s by Clarins! My cosmetic case doesn’t feature too much of Clarins, however nearly all of my body/skin products are by the brand. I was thinking of getting the Naked 3 palette, but I’ll have to take into consideration this one now as well! I hope your week is going well so far, Layla! 🙂

I agree with you completely, you can really see a difference between high street and high end brands and sometimes it’s fine to spend more in order to get something better!!! I think the Naked 3 palette is too overhyped and prefer theNaked palette 1 – this is a great option as it’s got so many gorgeous colours and can be used wet and dry! 🙂 xxxx
