Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil *
I was kindly sent the Clarins Lotus FaceTreatment Oil and it’s a product I’ve been using for the past couple of months.
For me Clarins is one of the TOP brands and it’s an absolute pleasure to work with them and test their products to feature on here.
So, lets get going with the review! 🙂
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – Packaging
Clarins’ packaging is always neat and lovely, I love the simplistic approach as I feel there’s more thought going into the product rather than the packaging.
The Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil is packed snuggly in a little box, listing the key ingredients, skin type it’s aimed for and the fact it contains plant extracts – bonus!
Upon opening the box you’re greeted with a lovely glass bottle – glass always makes products feel ‘luxe’ in my world and I love it!
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – Texture
A lot of you will be put off by the fact it’s an ‘oil’ product but PLEASE KEEP READING as oil products can actually help your skin and let you benefit more so.
The Clarins lotus face treatment oil doesn’t feel like an oil, it’s SO lightweight and non-greasy which is great and something you wouldn’t expect from an oil product.
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – Scent
The smell of this is absolutely gorgeous, it’s so fresh, revitalising and just plain lovely!
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – How to Use
Ok, so this is the way I personally use this in my skincare routine but feel free to use it as you feel would benefit you better 🙂
I use this 2-3 times a week depending on how my skin looks and feels.
After cleansing and toning my skin I wait until my skin is dry and then I’ll apply 2-3 drops into the palms of my hands, rub them together to warm up the oil and then just gently pat my face and neck.
I don’t rub this in like a moisturiser – just pat and dab onto the face and neck area.
I then leave it for a couple of minutes to sink into my skin properly and then I’ll apply my night cream over the top to ‘lock’ in all the lovely ingredients.
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – Results
This is aimed at people who have oily/combination skin and are prone to breakouts.
I have combination skin and due to the many products I get sent and try for my blog I do tend to suffer with the odd breakout.
After using this I have seen that my skin is better controlled however with the amount of products I apply, use and test I do still suffer with the odd breakout but that’s the same for everyone! 🙂
Yes I would recommend this product to friends, family and readers as I really do think it’s a lovely product to use and makes skin feel super smooth and silky!
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil – Purchase Online
Priced at £32.00 it’s on the higher end of the budget but it does last a very long time. I’ve had mine for a while now and I use it 2-3 times a week and about 3-4 drops a time and there’s still plenty….I think I’ll still have this by next Christmas! 🙂
So, as always I love hearing your thoughts so if you’ve tried this, want to try this or have any questions list them below and I’ll reply 🙂
