Astral All Over Moisturiser

Astral All Over Moisturiser *
I was kindly sent this Astral All Over Moisturiser a couple of weeks ago and since then have been testing it out.
Astral is one of the brands I’ve heard a lot about however didn’t get round to using up until I was sent this moisturiser to review which makes this quite an exciting post for me! 🙂
Astral All Over Moisturiser – Packaging
You all know I love talking writing about the packaging!!
As you can see in the pictures, it’s a bright blue colour which makes it stand out amongst other brands and instantly recognisable.
On the cap/lid you can see the ‘A’ indented into it which is quite nice – it’s little touches like these which I pick up on and like to see 🙂
I also like the fact that the cream is sealed and protected (pictured), not many brands do this now but I like it a lot as it’s more hygienic and you can buy a couple of these and keep them to one side so you never run out!
Astral All Over Moisturiser – Texture
The texture of the Astral Moisturiser is absolutely beautiful, it’s really thick, rich and creamy – like a yoghurt!
As you apply it onto your skin you can feel it nourishing and moisturising, it sinks in relatively quickly and you don’t get that nasty, greasy feeling which you can get from some moisturisers.
It’s a very silky, smooth texture.
I personally prefer using this in the evening after a bath/shower or overnight as this will allow the moisturiser to be absorbed overnight so you can wake up with lovely, soft, smooth skin.
Astral All Over Moisturiser – Scent
This product has such a beautiful yet delicate scent, it’s a normal ‘moisturiser’ smell which is a pleasure to use on your skin.
If you like fragrance free products I would still recommend it as it’s quite a delicate scent.
Astral All Over Moisturiser – Uses
I was kindly sent some information about this moisturiser with some of the wonderful ways you can use it, I have only used it on my hands and arms but will be trying these uses below!
– Primer
– Makeup Remover
– After Sun Cream
– Soothe Cracked Heels
– Clear Lip Balm
I have NO idea how this will be as a make-up remover but I’ll be trying everything and writing it in a post. The ones I’m most looking forward to using this as is a primer and lip balm!
The After-Sun cream will have to wait until my holidays 🙂
Astral All Over Moisturser – Overall
Overall I really like this moisturiser and that’s just by using it on my hands and arms!
I can’t wait to try it as a primer and make-up remover but either way you’ll be seeing this featured again in future posts!
I do recommend this product as I think there’s so many ways to use it, even if you don’t use it as a primer or on your face you can use it on your legs, arms and neck or vice versa!
It really is a versatile product and when you hear that celebrities like Joanna Lumley, Patsy Kensit and Hollywood Actresses use it, it does get you intrigued to find out what all the fuss is about!
