As a lot of you know Burts Bees have kindly sent me some products to feature from their NEW Lip Collection!

In this post I’ll be writing about their Lip Shimmer in colour ‘Rhubarb‘ – how cute is the name?

Burts Bees Lip Shimmer

All the Burts Bees Lip Shimmers are vibrant, luminescent colours that offer a pearlised shine.

The 100% Natural formula contains rich fruit seed oils, moisturising shea butter and a cool burst of peppermint oil which feels (and smells) beautiful.

Burts Bees Lip Shimmer – Packaging

The packaging is really simple and nice, I do like simple packaging as it shows the brand has put more effort into the product rather than the packaging.

In true Burt’s Bees style it’s vibrant, yellow and cute – you can see all the details listed along with the name of the colour.

Burts Bees Lip Shimmer – Texture

This is where the product really is wonderful.

The texture of the lip shimmer is beautiful, nourishing and extremely lightweight, it doesn’t feel sticky or drying, what you do feel is a slightly ‘tingly‘ sensation but that’s due to the peppermint oil used.

The best way I can describe the texture is in between a lip balm and a lipstick, nourishing, lightweight and you get enough colour for a lovely daytime look.

Burts Bees Lip Shimmer – Colour

The colour I am writing about in this review is ‘Rhubarb‘ it sound so yummy doesn’t it!?

I love the colour rhubarb especially when I want my make-up to look ‘done’ quickly…eyeliner, bronzer and a touch of this…it’s all I need.

Rhubarb is a light red shade with a blue undertone so it makes your teeth look whiter, it has a subtle shimmer running through it too so it’s give a lovely sheen to your lips.
