Afternoon Tea with Marie Curie
Afternoon Tea with Marie Curie (and Frankie Bridge) – I cannot tell you how lovely it feels to be working in partnership with charities and helping to raise awareness for different causes – I really do think that even if a few people take notice or feel better after reading a post like this it makes everything worthwhile! 🙂
A few days ago I was invited for Afternoon Tea in London to celebrate the #FeelSuper campaign which is in partnership with Superdrug and P&G.
I’ve written all about the campaign in this post here so if you haven’t read it – check it out!!
At the event I heard some stories not only from people who had gone through extremely difficult times but also people working at Marie Curie – their aim is to provide comfort, happiness, guidance and support to anyone who may need it and at any time, whether it’s in the middle of the day, in the middle of the night – they will be there for you!
All the donations from the#FeelSuper campaign go to the hospices and will also help to provide more nurses (or angels as Marie Curie calls them) for anyone who needs the support.
I know I’ve featured the image above twice but I like it hahaha!
I would absolutely LOVE to hear what you think about this campaign and Marie Curie, would you like to see more posts from bloggers sharing and raising awareness?
You can still purchase products that donate to Marie Curie from Superdrug till the end of May!
xx
I love posts like this and it’s fantastic that such a campaign is running.
I write a lifestyle blog, and charity is a big thing for me so throughout this year I am dedicating my tuesday posts to a different charity each month, highlighting what they do and how my readers can get involved!
The blogging community is so large now, we have the reach to be able to make a big difference to the charitable world!
Love Lenny xx
Awww thank you so much!! It is a great community and if we all get together and help then we will make a difference, it’s not about working against each other but together so I do thank you for your lovely comment!!! 🙂 xxx
This is such a great post! I love whenever known faces get involved with charities, as it’s one of the quickest ways to spread awareness. People with large followings should always be wiling to help people in a less fortunate situations than themselves. So I definitely love this idea.
