The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick * 拢10.00

I love The Body Shop and I’ve had this Colour Crush Lipstick for quite some time now and only just found the photos when looking for some other photos!

The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick – Colour

Ok, so on the packaging I can’t see the name of this colour, all I can see is the number 125 however when you look online it’s called ‘Crazy Sexy Crimson‘ which is such a funky name!

The best way I can describe this colour is a deep reddish brown shade, it really is beautiful – even more so in person! The pigment is quite rich so a little amount can be used for a ‘stained’ look or more can be applied for full-on colour!

I know we’re heading towards summer but I do think this is a colour to look out for, I think berry shades like this compliment a tan so well, a little bit of eyeliner and your look will be lovely.

The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick – Packaging

Yes, I love the packaging!

It’s simple and I like the split colour of silver and red…it’s sleek and looks great sat with my other lipsticks too 馃檪

The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick – Texture

When I first looked at it I thought it was going to be a ‘heavy‘ lipstick, don’t ask why….it just had that look.

However when applied it’s feels like a lip shimmer, not as lightweight as a lipbalm but not as heavy as traditional lipsticks, it glides on perfectly but I did find it to be slightly, only slightly, drying.

This is something which can be easily sorted, just apply a lipbalm overnight and before applying lipstick and it should be ok! 馃檪

This is priced at 拢10 which is decent in my opinion as it lasts a long time and looks great!

I’ve been using this all the time now, even more than red. I also have Raspberry Hot from the same line, it’s the best pink! I love how they last so long, and even when they start fading, it’s even and the colour stays very flattering.

I agree, I love the pink more than the red – it’s such a beautiful deep pink with a blue undertone making teeth whiter! They do last a long time and even when it fades, you’re still left with a colour that looks like more of a stain!! 馃檪 xx
