Skincare Tip – Beer CAN make your skin look better!
We all know that using beer on your hair has it’s benefits by making it look and feel softer, smoother and shinier but did you know that beer can also make your skin look better?
How can Beer make skin look better?
The yeast in the beer will help to balance your skins PH levels, cleanse skin thoroughly and will kill bacteria which causes breakouts and spots leaving you with healthy, glowing skin.
A simple method is using beer in a homemade face mask.
You need
1 egg
(Use the egg white for oily/combination skin and egg yolk for dry skin)
3-4 teaspoons of beer
Method
Mix the ingredients until fully blended.
Using a cotton pad, dip it into the homemade mask.
Dab the mask all over your skin and leave for 15-20 minutes.
Using a warm, damp face cloth remove the mask or rinse with lukewarm water, pat skin dry and apply your moisturiser.
You can do this once or twice a week, I recommend sticking to once a week as you don’t want to overwhelm your skin. You should see after the first use that your skin starts to ‘behave’ itself, it’ll look healthier and you’ll get less breakouts. 🙂
