Hello everyone! What a beautiful day it is! The sun is shining and it’s absolutely glorious here in the UK however I don’t know how long this lovely weather will be here for….
In this outfit post, I’m featuring this beautiful Palm Print Maxi Dress which is perfect for warm, sunshine days like these!
If you’re someone who isn’t used to wearing dresses, I think maxi dresses are the way to go – they add a feminine touch to your look and this way, you can start to feel comfortable in dresses.
I personally love wearing dresses in the summer and when I’m on holiday tend to wear maxi dresses in the evening, especially if I’m going out for a meal. During the day I tend to opt for shorter dresses so I can top up my tan – it’s summer after all! 🙂
This Palm Print Maxi Dress is perfect to wear during the day and during the evening – it’s a design that works for both. It’s bright and has just the right amount of colours – white, green, blue, purple and a touch of black.
The chain detail around the neckline adds an elegant feel which is what allows you to wear this during the evening too. It’s also a little bit floaty too with the top part folding over the waistline so it’s not entirely fitted.
If you’re a short girl, like me, then you’ll definitely need to wear heels with this otherwise you’ll be tripping up over the bottom of the dress – I’m wearing black wedge heels with this so you don’t need to shorten it either.
You can add a few bangles to the look – I just added a statement watch and sunglasses keeping the main focus on the dress plus with the chain detail, it acts like a necklace too – fun! 🙂
On the back, you’ll be able to see the detail below, it’s an open back however it’s a halterneck dress and not only does the chain act like a necklace but it holds the dress in place – you could wear a strapless bra or wear a colourful option like a green or blue which will work with the dress. I chose black, again keeping the main focus on the lovely palm print maxi dress 🙂

That is one lovely maxi dress. I’ve not been a fan of maxi dresses for some time as I often find myself tripping over the end of the skirt, hahaha. It’s ridiculous, I know. I prefer a midi length but of course a longer length adds to the elegance which is conveyed by yours 😀 x
