J JS Lee - London Fashion Week

Well London Fashion Week has started and what a wonderful start it was! I wanted to write about J JS Lee as I thought it would be quite fitting as the colours are contrasting with our weather at the moment…the weather- dull, grey and miserable, J JS Lee clothing – Fun and colourful!

Just what we need as it’s the spring/summer 2014 collection.

A little bit about J JS Lee.

Jackie Lee graduated from Central Saint Martins MA in 2010 and in 2013 brought us a wonderful collection which is her best one yet!

Many people may she she’s a minimalist but she calls herself a “cleanist‘ and said that underneath the simplicity of the outfits there are many layers, she likes the ‘clean’ and ‘tailored’ look which ran throughout the whole collection and her love of colours with the pop of bright pink and turquoise contrasted against the tailor navy and white making it quite refreshing.

What did  I like from the J JS Lee Collection at London Fashion Week?

I love how neat everything is which is really what Jackie Lee means by being a ‘Cleanist‘ you can just see the perfection running through the collection…some people may think it’s boring but I think it’s quite a nice change from all the statements!

I’m loving the pops of colours, baby pink and flashes of turquoise against the white…it really is lovely, especially the last picture…that’s super-cute!

So all you fashionistas!

Let me know what you think of the J JS Lee collection and your thoughts on LFW 2013!

P.S – Take a look at how happy the model in the second picture is….seriously! 🙂
