This fabulous product you can see pictured above is the new Honeymania Body Scrub by The Body Shop and I’m so excited to write about it as it hasn’t yet hit the stores…..but don’t worry, you haven’t got long to wait as it’s going to available on the 18th of September!

About the Honeymania Collection.

The Honeymania moisture collection is a new range coming from The Body Shop, the whole collection has been made using fair-trade honey from the Sheka Rainforest in the Ethiopian Highlands.

About the Honeymania Body Scrub.

I was kindly sent the Honeymania Body Scrub from The Body shop and I cannot thank them enough for sending me this glorious product to feature on here.

The packaging is extremely simple but cheerful at the same time and you can instantly see the main ingredient used is honey with a picture on the screw-on lid on the product.

What does the Honeymania Body scrub smell like?

As soon as you get to the product you’re greeted by an incredibly fresh floral scent.

I imagined this product to be a very sweet honey scent but due to The Body Shop sourcing their honey from the Sheka Rainforest in the Ethiopian highlands, the bees there collect the nectar from fragrant rainforest flowers giving you this scent which is unlike any other honey product!

Think of it like a blend of flowers with a touch of sweetness from the honey…it’s beautiful and I really recommend you popping into a store just to smell it as you’ll fall in love with it!

How does the Honeymania Body Scrub feel on the skin?

As you can see I applied it to the back of my hand to test it.

On completely dry skin it goes on like a thick, sticky cream (like a hair styling creme) but as soon as you start massaging it into the skin it starts turning really soft and almost feels like butter.

The exfoliating beads you can see in the pictures are really delicate on the skin, you can feel them but they don’t drag or irritate skin, the gently buff at the skin boosting circulation and leaving it incredibly smooth.

I then tried it on damp skin and on damp skin the product turns into a milky lotion straight away so what I would recommend is applying this onto dry skin and massaging it, then rinsing it off with water.

When would I use the Honeymania Body Scrub?

I’ve been using this every other day and have used it on my legs, arms, hands and my skin now feels smooth and lovely.

After shaving legs, pat them dry and apply this body scrub and gently massage legs, rinse and apply your favourite body lotion…..my legs are as smooth as a babies bottom! Time to get the skirts out again haha!

My mum has also used this on her hands and loves how soft her skin feels, she also said they feel moisturised which is exactly what honey is meant to do!

How much is the Honeymania Body Scrub?

The Honeymania Body Scrub is priced at £9 for 200ml and I think that’s perfect value for money as it will last you absolutely ages! My tub is still full but remember a little goes a very long way!

When can I purchase the Honeymania Body Scrub?

As mentioned above it hasn’t been released yet but you’ll be able to purchase it from the 18th september in-store and online!

Would I recommend this to family, friends and readers?

Yes….this is probably one of the best products I’ve tried from The Body Shop, I’m really impressed with the product, the scent and how my skin feels after using it.

My mum uses it on her hands too so if you’re not too bothered about legs and arms being super-smooth just leave it by the kitchen sink and use it on your hands as a mini-treament!
