GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick

I absolutely love lipsticks (no surprise) and after sorting through my beauty products and organising them in size and colour order (hello Monica from Friends) I found this GOSH  Velvet Touch Lipstick which I bought a while ago and thought I’d write about it.

GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick – Packaging

The packaging of the GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick is lovely, it’s really sleek, simple and looks classic.

On the bottom you have the name and number of the colour (134) Darling – how adorable is the name!?

GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick – Colour

As mentioned above I bought colour 134 and it’s called darling – how cute!

I was looking for a true nude lipstick and how true the GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick is!

In the pictures it looks pink in tone however when applied it’s a true nude and you don’t need to use a lot of it as the pigment is extremely rich – if you use too much or apply directly you’ll end up looking like you’ve just applied concealer and that’s not a good look.

I use my ring finger and dab it on or with a lip brush to achieve a really lovely nude lip.

GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick – Texture

This is one of the few lipsticks that has a lovely texture.

When applying this feels really smooth and buttery, it’s extremely lightweight and it looks brilliant when worn. It doesn’t dry lips in the slightest and I could say that it actually moisturises lips leaving them quite smooth!

GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick – Lasting Power

The lasting power is OK, it’s not bad and it’s not great, it’s just OK!

As with a lot of lipsticks they last until you drink or eat something but I don’t really mind re-applying when needed, especially if I’m happy with the colour!

GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick – Purchase

You can click HERE to go to Superdrug where I bought my lipstick but I’ve just seen that the name has changed to ‘Light Rose’ but still has the same number!

NOOOOO….bring back the name Darling – so much cuter!

Price – £4.49

Let me know what you think!

Layla xx

It really is a lovely colour Hayley, it’s very rich in pigment and a little goes a long way! It’s a true nude too so if you’re looking for the ‘perfect’ nude I’d highly recommend this!! 🙂 xx
