Gorgeous Bronze Salon Tan at Home Review *

Ok, so this is probably the first time that you’ll hear a beauty blogger say what I’m about to say – I’ve never used fake tan!

Can you believe it?

I’ve never used fake tan on myself before!! I’ve applied it to other people when working on set for shoots and shows but it’s never been something that I’ve wanted or felt the need to use – I just wait till the summer to relax on a beach and tan (with all the cream, lotions & potions)!

However, that was up until now – Gorgeous Bronze Salon Tan is an at-home tanning product that gives you salon-like results and below I’ve covered the things you need to know!

Gorgeous Bronze Salon Tan – Application

I’m not going to mention the packaging as it comes in a box – what you all want to know is what comes inside the box and how to use it!

As you can see in the images above the bottle and spray applicator system come separate,  this is to avoid any air getting into the can and also to keep things hygienic right up until the minute you use it.

Gorgeous Bronze Salon Tan – How To Use

Unscrew the cap on the can and replace it with the spray head making sure you lock it into place, there are little arrows on the side as guides too to make sure it’s firmly in place and avoid getting air into the can which can cause air-lock.

Shake the can for a good minute or so before applying to make sure everything has combined well.

Before applying the self-tanner, I also applied a body moisturisers on my hands, elbows, knees and ankles to avoid any horrible staining which can occur in these areas!

If you’re applying this yourself (like I did) then the best place would be in the bathroom – it won’t matter too much if you make a mess as you can then attack the room with bleach and clean everything  (I do this daily anyway – clean freak) once you’re done.

I can’t really tell you how to apply this as it’s down to how you feel comfortable but I started with my legs and worked my way up.

Once happy I left it on for 2-3 hours  even though it says you can leave it on for up to 8 hours however I was a little bit scared of how it would develop.

As it was my first go at applying this I didn’t take any pictures BUT I will say that I am very impressed as it just gives your skin a really lovely, natural glow.

The best part is that I still have quite a bit of product left to use so I will be applying it again and taking before and after pictures so expect another post soon!

Gorgeous Bronze Salon Tan – Overall

Considering it was my first time using a self-tanner on myself I am extremely impressed and even though I had used fake tan before albeit on other people it was daunting to begin with.

Now I feel a lot more confident using it and can’t wait to show you some pictures!

There’s also no nasty smell with this either – it’s actually a fresh slightly fruity scent which is lovely but fades after you shower.
