Clarins Lip Balm Crayon – Delicious Plum *

Clarins is a brand which I love and highly recommend – yes their products may be slightly pricier however when you see the packaging, the colours and how incredible the quality is you know that you get what you pay for.

SO many brands are bringing out their own version of the lip crayons / lip sticks and I’ve been lucky enough to try quite a lot from a variety of brands and NONE have even come close to the Clarins Lip Balm Crayons.

Clarins Lip Balm Crayon – Delicious Plum – Packaging

As you can see in the pictures above the Clarins Lip Balm Crayon comes packaged in a lovely little box, a bright vibrant red which instantly catches your eye.

Upon opening the packaging you have all the Clarins details including their website and out comes the lovely lip balm crayon.

In my mind gold = luxury and you can see the lovely high-shine gold cap, gold bottom and gold writing on the Clarins Lip Balm Crayon which screams high-end and luxury to me. 🙂

Clarins Lip Balm Crayon – Delicious Plum – Colour

The colour of this is really beautiful, it looks like a deep plum with a slight shimmer in it but when applied this turns into a light plum shade with a slight shimmer just to catch the light delicately.

Considering it’s a crayon/balm this has a shine finish, not matte and I really like it.

Looking through the pictures you can see it looks lovely and can be worn during the day with simple eyeliner and teamed with a smoky eye – it’s delicate but has just enough colour to define.

Clarins Lip Balm Crayon – Delicious Plum – Texture

This is where I really admire Clarins and am happy to pay more for the quality, this has one of the nicest textures and I cannot pick another brand to have such lovely textured lip products.

As soon as you apply this glides on like butter, it’s creamy, applies evenly and keeps your lips feeling soft, nourished and hydrated.

I’ve tried others which can actually make your lips feel dry but this is by far the best and you can use it as a colour and a lip balm – hence the name! 🙂

Clarins is known for their high quality products and this is no exception, I applied this in the morning and re-applied again in the afternoon after having 2 coffees and a little snack.

The colour had faded but not too much – I just re-applied to keep it looking fresh as I was attending an event.
