As a lot of you may have seen, Clarins sent me some gorgeous products to review from their new summer collection and in this post I’ll be writing about the Clarins Lip Balm Crayon – Creamy Pink (02).
Clarins Lip Balm Crayon – Creamy Pink (02) – Packaging
This comes packaged in a little red box, it has a simplistic, clean feel to it which is lovely and I think Clarins is known for their lovely classic packaging.
Open the box and you’re greeted with a really pretty yet delicate pink (chubby) lip crayon with a touch of gold giving it a luxurious feel and look.

I cannot tell you how amazing this feels, it’s absolutely beautiful and by a long way my FAVOURITE from all the other brands I’ve tried and reviewed.
It’s like a really, really, really lightweight butter – it just glides on and is so nourishing and smooth!

I have 3 different lip balm crayons to talk about – all for good reasons!
Creamy pink is such a delicate colour, it’s a beautiful pink with a touch of coral – perfect for the summer months and will look fab with a tan!
Seeing as it’s such a delicate colour I did have to apply this again (seen in pictures) for a more vivid look – it lasts for a good couple of hours before it fades to a subtle colour.
The darker shades I found lasted longer and turned into a stain BUT lasting power doesn’t bother me as I enjoy re-applying my lipstick/gloss/balm again just to ‘refresh’ my look.

Is it similar to a Clinique Chubby Stick? Or, would you say it’s better?
Looks wise yes – haha! Otherwise I can’t really say as I haven’t tried the Clinique Chubby stick BUT what I do know is that the Clarins crayons glides on so smoothly, it’s like a lightweight butter – soothing and not at all drying whereas I have heard the Clinique one can be….as mentioned I haven’t tried it though! 🙂 xxx
