Body Shop – seaweed mattifying day cream
Over the past few weeks we have been receiving some glorious products from The Body Shop including this seaweed mattifying day cream.
As soon as we had read the press release we knew it was going to be a hit especially during the summer and warm days.
Seaweed is renowned for keeping skin levels balanced and for keeping skin feeling refreshed during the day.
Opening the lid you can see that the cream is covered with another little cap to help it stay fresh for as long as possible which is something you don’t see regularly unless it’s more expensive products.
The first time we applied this moisturiser we were surprised at it’s consistency, you think it’s a cream when you look at it but the texture is a creamy lightweight gel, it’s sounds strange but it’s lovely on the skin!
If you’re someone looking for products that don’t leave your skin feeling greasy then we definitely recommend this.
You don’t need to use a lot either, a little dab on your cheeks, forehead, chin and massage it into the skin – you’ll be surprised how quickly it sinks in and in 5 full minutes our skin looked and felt soft.
How to apply.
Once you’ve cleansed your skin, apply a little bit onto your cheeks, forehead and chin and massage it into the skin – you’ll see how quickly it sinks in.
There are two options to this product, you can purchase 15ml for £4.00 which is wonderful if you want to see if this is for your skin or go for the 50ml priced at £10.
Either way we think it’s extremely affordable and lasts a long time as you don’t need to use too much.
