Benefit Lollitint Lip and Cheek Stain £24.50
Benefit is another brand I really like for it’s products and packaging, something from them will always catch my eye whether it’s dandelion, dallas, coralista….the packaging is always fun and very cute!!
Benefit have released this image showing us what’s coming in Spring 2014 but there are rumours going around that this could launch earlier!
There is also a little holding slot on the US based website (so I’ve been told) where you can pre-order but I’ll be more than happy to view this in person when it launches as and when!
What is Lip and Cheek Stain?
A lot of people can sometimes get confused as to how to use a lip/cheek stain and what’s it’s purpose is.
Once you get the hang of it I think it’s something which you’ll keep reaching for and using as it’s just so easy!
I tend to use my ring finger when applying stains as they blend a lot nicer.
Once you’ve applied your make-up apply a little of the stain to the apples of you cheeks or on your ring finger and tap it onto the skin in circles, don’t blend as this will cause it to streak but by tapping it onto the apples of your cheeks it’ll give you a subtle rosy glow which will last all day.
You can then apply your blush powder for more colour or a highlighter for a glow but I would leave it with just the tint.
I always use a lip balm before applying my lipstain to keep them nourished and smooth, I then apply the stain directly or I apply it to my ring finger and just go over it like a lipstick until I feel it’s dried.
The result for both should be a lovely subtle glow/sheen and a pop of colour, obviously you can build up the colour should you go for more colour/definition but after using it once or twice you should get the hang of it and the good thing with stains is that they do last! 🙂
I’m really looking forward to finding out more about Benefits Lollitint Lip and Cheek Stain!!
