Bath Ingredients You NEED (Some can be found in your kitchen)
Bath Ingredients You Need – Yes, some of the ingredients which you’ll see below can actually be found in your kitchen cupboard.
Those of you who know me will know that I love my bath time! It’s my pamper time and somewhere that I can relax and gather my thoughts…
I’m a fan of using bubble bath too – lots of it! Not forgetting bath bombs either BUT most of the ingredients I add, are from my kitchen cupboard…
Bath Ingredients You need – Himalayan Bath Salts or Real Himalayan Salt
I started off using the Himalayan Bath Salts after being sent a product to review and absolutely loved the results!
Mi skin feels super-soft, smooth and my muscles were a lot more relaxed too – just what you need after a long day.
Since the first lot of Himalayan Bath Salts ran out, I’ve then tried a variety if different types including my personal favourite which I picked up from the Home Sense store. A big tub of natural, unscented pink himalayan salts for about £5.
I went back to re-stock however they had sold out so if you find it – buy it! 🙂
What does Himalayan Salt Do?
For me personally, it did the following –
- Soften & Hydrated Skin
- Relaxed Muscles
How much to use?
I normally add 2-3 spoons into warm running water – other people 1-2 cups, yes cups of Himalayan Bath Salts for an intense detox but I’ve never tried this much so if you do want an intense detox I’d recommend starting with half a glass and seeing how you feel.
Bath Ingredients You need – Rose Water (And Petals)
Yes, the rose petals are optional but I can’t resist making my bath look as pretty as it smells – I mean, all the bubble bath, bath bombs and candles…. you can imagine.
It’s a full pamper evening, complete with a face mask too!
Rose water is an ingredient which can also be used in cakes for a subtle flavour but I love adding 2-3 spoons of rose water into warm running water.
Known for it’s soothing / rehydration properties, it helps to prevent wrinkles, nourishes your skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth.
