B. Nourished Skincare

We all love our skincare products, for me there’s nothing better than returning home after a long day and removing all traces of make-up and using products that leave skin feeling fresh and nourished….even if it’s 2-3 in the morning after an event – I still make sure every bit of make-up is removed!

So, getting back to the post – I’ll be focusing and talking writing about the new B. Nourished Skincare range which is launching this autumn and is all about anti-ageing.

B. Nourished Skincare – Super Ingredients

The B. Nourished skincare range is designed to address multiple anti-ageing needs, containing a trio of super-ingredients including a NEW active peptide Matrixyl® synthe’6®.

Many people will be think ‘huh‘ and I agree, all this scientific talk can be a little overwhelming for people who don’t fuss over the ingredients BUT this has been hailed as the next generation of the well-known peptide Matrixyl® 3000 as this surface ‘wrinkle filler’ works from the inside on deep lines (wrinkles) and helping to rebuild skin where needed.

Skin firmness is vital for over 50’s and the range itself has been clinically proven to improve the elasticity by 36% in 8 weeks – the test was conducted on 30 women between the ages 60-73 years old.

Skin Phase 4 which are the products pictured above contain a powerful plant stem cell active, Senstem™ – this comes from plantain and helps to densify and add elasticity to the skin as well as brighten skin and dark spots for a more youthful appearance.

The third addition to the trio of super-ingredients is ‘Revinage’ and this has a similar benefit to the well known and much used Retinol (Vitamin A) however Revinage is better as it doesn’t irritate the skin which has been associated with retinoids.

Revinage is a vegetable source that helps to plump and smooth wrinkles by stimulating the collagen growth and allowing skin to rejuvenate and bring back the elasticity to the skin. It’s also been clinically proven to reduce skin roughness by 19.5% in 8 weeks – this was tested on 11 women between the ages of 45-56 years old.

These products sound amazing! I’m not too worried about wrinkles just yet, my main problem is acne but maybe I’ll give them a go when they’re released in Superdrug stores! xx
