The Sprinkles of Style Team is back with a new post and this time, we're sharing some of our fashion and beauty winter essentials that you shouldn't leave home without!
Even though many people are complaining about the cold, here at Sprinkles of Style, we're enjoying every minute of winter - yes, including the beautiful snowfall which we saw last week!
Nothing says December or Christmas better than snow and with some places in the UK reporting temperatures as low as -12, we decided that now would be the best time to write this post.
Sharing some of our (and Layla's) fashion and beauty essentials that you shouldn't leave home without.
Fashion Essentials
Winter is sometimes considered as a boring season when it comes to your clothing however it's the perfect time to experiment!
Layla says - "I love styling a snuggly sweater with skinny jeans and heels for an elegant, chic look..."
"For the evening, you could team an oversized jumper with an eye-catching, or even sequin skirt and knee-high boots for a relaxed evening glam look..."
Beauty Essentials
When it comes to our beauty essentials, one thing we shouldn't forget is our skincare!
There's such a change in temperatures, going out from a warm home or office environment into the cold outdoor air causes havoc on skin and this is where we really need to pay attention to the products we use.
"There's no set rule, it's all down to trying different products and seeing what will work best for your skin type..." says Layla.
"I personally use lightweight / oil-free products during the day and in the evening, I take the time to really pamper my skin with nourishing cleansers and rich night creams - don't forget lip balm either!"

I dn’t know why people complain about winter. I think there are so many options of fashionable outfits one can choose from. With beauty i guess you have to opt for more subtle make up i guess thats were the problem comes.
