Hello everyone, all I can do is apologise for the delay in getting these posts out – I’ve been in hospital again and am a little bit behind with my schedule but I am slowly getting everything together again! 🙂
I was kindly sent some gorgeous products from The Body Shop which I think are going to be a hit and a MUST HAVE for the summer as they’re just so refreshing!
The Body Shop Satsuma Body Sorbet – Packaging
As I’ve mentioned before, the main thing that I love with The Body Shop products is that they show you what the main ingredient/fruit is in the product and it’s lovely to see.
As you can see from the pictures, the main fruit used in this product is Satsuma, beautiful, fresh satsuma.
The body sorbet comes in a tube which is wonderful as it’s a lot more hygienic, easier to apply and things don’t get as messy! 🙂
The Body Shop Satsuma Body Sorbet – Texture
Oh, what can I say about the texture of this product!?
It’s so lovely and unique, I don’t think there’s anything like this on the market and it’s certainly unlike anything I’ve ever used. You would expect this to be in a cream form but it’s not, it’s actually like a sorbet texture without it melting.
Once applied onto the skin this just sinks into your skin and in minutes your skin really looks lovely, healthy and hydrated.

The scent is another reason why I love this product! The Body Shop have really stayed true to the Satsuma scent, it’s really refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness cutting through.
The Body Shop Satsuma Body Sorbet – Lasting Power
I always apply my body lotions after a shower or bath as this is when your body will absorb products better and this is no exception BUT I have found myself applying this in the morning too on my arms and legs.
This keeps skin feeling and looking great all day long and you’re left with a very delicate fresh scent – if you love the scent of fresh products you can also buy The Body Shops Satsuma Body Spray/Spritz which will keep the refreshingly sweet scent around longer! 🙂

I really love this product, it’s unlike any other body lotion, cream or butter I’ve used as it has a unique texture, sinks into the skin quickly and leaves your skin looking really lovely and healthy.
The scent is absolutely beautiful as The Body Shop has used cold-pressed Satsuma Oil which is wonderful and really hits the note well with the scent – it’s like smelling a real satsuma!
I think these will be loved by everyone especially in the summer, it nourishes skin and feels really refreshing!

Sorry to hear youre still in and out of hospital:( I do hope you get better very SOON! Satsuma is one of my fav fragrances for their body butters and home fragrances ! And who can resist anything with the word “sorbet” in it!!

Their body sorbets look nice! I was worried if they were heavy or not, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Ah this isn’t heavy AT ALL it’s quite the opposite, so lightweight and nourishing but really refreshing too – it could just be the scent but it’s my favourite product!! 🙂 xxx

I have tried the pink grapefruit one too and that’s going to be online soon! I like them both but I think that the Satsuma although it’s fresh has a slight sweetness to it but the colour of the pink grapefruit is better hahahaa!!! 🙂
