Superdry Eyeshadow Secura Blue * £8.00

Superdry are known for their clothing first and foremost however their beauty range is also doing the rounds and I’m loving a lot of their products.

In this post I’ll be talking writing about the Superdry Eyeshadow in colour Secura Blue.

Why am I writing about such an ‘out there‘ colour?

It’s going to be a BIG hit this spring/summer and although some of you may be thinking blue isn’t the colour for you think again…..blue suits EVERYONE!

Gracing many shows during fashion week blue is the colour to keep an eye on this spring/summer.

The Superdry Eyeshadow is wonderful and if you scroll through the pictures you can see how cute and quirky the packaging is, it slides open like a disc and I don’t think I’ve seen any other eyeshadow product like this…it’s just so funky!

The colour is a true, crisp, bright blue and although it may put a lot of people off there are so many ways you can wear this and incorporate it into your look, it’s actually really simple and I’ve listed some of the ways below.

– Smoky Eye – Using a white eyeshadow (shimmer) all over the eyelid this will create a perfect base, brighten the eye area and make your eyes look brighter and wider. Blend a silver eyeshadow into the crease and outer corner of the eye. Apply a little amount of the Secura Blue Eyeshadow over the silver and blend, this will soften down the blue slightly and the silver will add more ‘glam‘ to your smoky eye.

– Simple Eyeliner – Instead of reaching for your normal black liner, using an eyeliner brush dip it in the Superdry Eyeshadow and line your upper lashline with this beautiful blue shade. This will draw attention to your eyes and works wonders in spring and summer when we opt for colourful products.

– Lower Lashline – Give your look a twist, create your normal smoky eye and line the lower lashline with Secura Blue…it’ll give you that pop of colour and make your look fun and funky!

I love bright colours like green and blue teamed up with a lovely pastel or bright pink lipstick….pink, green and blue work beautifully together although they shouldn’t there’s something that just fits together like a jigsaw puzzle!
